I am a second generation balloonist with both of my parents competitive balloon pilots and founders of Balloon club Zagreb. I have been flying balloons for over 30 years and got into competition ballooning in 1993. I first flew in Hungary in 2009 in Debrecan during the pre-European Championships.

I started ballooning when I studied at Chalmers University in Gothenburg. The local beer company had sponsored the university balloon and I found the combination of balloon flights and free beer very appealing. I competed for Sweden in 3 World Championships 1981 – 1985 and stopped competing when I started flying commercial balloons in Kenya 1986. I moved to the UK in 1991 and carried on flying commercially until a few years ago when I started competing again. I’m now competing for the United Kingdom.

With over 1500 drives and over 2500 hours, he is one of the most active sports pilots in Germany. The passion for competitive driving was awakened in his early days as a balloon pilot and since then he has been multiple German junior champion, German champion in 2010, 2014 and 2019. I am active in a hot air balloon sports since 2002. I participated in several European and World Championships. During the entire career I have won several international competitions.

I started ballooning since 1972 and I got my balloonlicense in 1986. I won the Dutch Championship 19 times and still Dutch champion.

I got my pilot licence in 1992, start my ballooning company Excellent Ballooning in 1995. Simultaneously I also owned a large dairy farm, these two companies I managed for 20 years together. If balloonist I fly on all types and sizes of balloons, special shapes, large 24 to 30 seater passenger balloons and small competition balloons. In winter time for several years fly balloons within the Arctic Circler in Finland, Sweden and even on Svalbard Spitsbergen. But also in all European countries and Thailand, Kenya,etc. Was the first who fly with a balloon in Indonesia. Besides commercial ballooning I find competition flying a great challenge, I have been nominate several times for the Netherlands and even once Dutch Champion. For the European and World Championships I flew in countries as France, Hungary, Poland, Japan, etc.
